Summary

Edge AI Stack requires no account and sets no cookies. When you run one of our calculators, we record what was calculated, never who calculated it: the storage system is built so that IP addresses, user agents, names, and email addresses are structurally excluded — there are no columns for them. Nothing we store can be traced back to a person, we do not sell or share data, and you can opt out of even the anonymous usage records with one line in your browser console.

What We Store

Calculator usage. Each engine run is recorded as one identifier-free row: the engine used, the inputs you selected (restricted to a reviewed allowlist of preset values — free text is rejected by validation before it can reach storage), a summary of the result, whether the call succeeded, a coarse duration bucket, and a timestamp truncated to the hour. Alongside these we derive a few coarse context fields at the edge and discard the raw values: two-letter country code (never city or region), device class (desktop or mobile), whether the request came from a datacenter network, a bot-likelihood bucket, and the referring domain only when you arrived from an external site.

Session grouping. The browser generates a random ID in sessionStorage so that runs from a single visit can be grouped. It is not a cookie, contains nothing about you, is never linked to an identity, and is discarded when the tab closes.

Feedback you submit. The feedback form is the one place free text is accepted, because you are choosing to send it. We store the tool, your rating, your comment, and country code. Please don't include personal details in feedback text; if you do and want it removed, use the contact below.

Assistant conversations. The Edge AI Assistant logs only routing metadata — which tool handled the request, a confidence label, and operational counters. The text of your question and the answer are processed transiently and never stored.

Outbound clicks. If you click a link to an external vendor, we record which product link was clicked, the page it was on, and country code — nothing about you.

What We Never Store

IP addresses, user-agent strings, names, email addresses, precise location, and free text outside the feedback form. Your IP address exists only transiently while the request is being served: rate limiting uses a salted hash of it that rotates every day, and those counters expire within the hour. Timestamps are truncated to the hour before storage so records cannot be correlated to the second.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. The only browser storage we use is the tab-scoped session ID described above and, if you opt out, a single opt-out flag in localStorage. Cloudflare may set security-related cookies as part of its DDoS protection; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Opting Out

To exclude your browser from even the anonymous usage records, run this once in your browser's developer console on edgeaistack.ai:

localStorage.setItem('eas_telemetry_optout','1')

Every calculator call from that browser will then carry an opt-out header that the server honors before anything is written. API users can send the header directly: X-EAS-Optout: 1. To opt back in, remove the flag: localStorage.removeItem('eas_telemetry_optout').

Retention

Usage records contain no identifiers and are retained indefinitely for product analytics. Rate-limit counters expire within the hour. Feedback is kept while we act on it and deleted on request.

Third-Party Services

The site and its API run entirely on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, and Cloudflare storage). Cloudflare processes request metadata such as IP addresses transiently as part of standard CDN and DDoS protection operations; refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. We embed no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising, and no cross-site trackers.

Changes & Contact

This policy is updated whenever data-handling practices change; the date at the top reflects the last revision. Questions or deletion requests: [email protected]. Note that because stored records carry no identifiers, we usually cannot find "your" records — which is the point.
